Angel
Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization
dedicated to providing groceries to communities throughout the United
States. Based in Georgia, the program started with serving 34 families
in February of 1994. On average, over 395,000 families are
served in over 32 states. Many of our sister United Methodist Churches
are already involved throughout Pennsylvania.
Once a month, you have opportunity to order and purchase $50.00 of
groceries for $30.00 – all quality food items, both perishable and
non-perishable. This program has no income verification or
requirements and is open to anyone regardless of financial situation.
It is a wonderful means to
help your food dollars go further no matter how large or small your
family.

UMC receives $1.00 for each unit of food sold each month. That
separate Angel Food Ministry Fund is
used to keep the program operating and provide additional help for
outreach and supportive
ministries.
